Sky has shortlisted three networks in its European media review.
The broadcaster has selected Group M, Omnicom Media Group and Publicis Groupe in a pitch run by The Aperto Partnership.
Currently, Sky’s European media account is handled by Group M’s EssenceMediacom and is thought to be worth £250m annually in the UK alone.
The markets under review include the UK, Ireland, Italy and the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
The last review of Sky’s media account took place in 2017, its first review in 13 years, when EssenceMediacom, then MediaCom, retained the account in a three-way contest against Publicis Groupe’s Zenith and Dentsu’s Carat.
